Bagru Floral Cotton Bedsheet with Pillow Covers

From the mud-resist printing yards of Bagru, outside Jaipur, Rajasthan, this sheet was printed by hand using carved wooden blocks dipped in natural dye. The Chippa community has worked this same artisanal process for generations, block pressed, washed in the river, sun-dried on open ground. In beige and green, the colors land quiet, the way they were always meant to.

This bedsheet comes from Bagru, a small town just outside Jaipur whose Chippa printers have defined Indian block printing for centuries. Each sheet is handcrafted, stamped by hand using carved wooden blocks, the motifs drawn from the natural world, vines, florals, the slow geometry of growth. No two prints align perfectly, and that imprecision is the point.

Spread it on the bed and it settles into a softness that only pure cotton achieves. The earthy beige-and-green palette reads differently in morning light than it does at evening. It pairs with a brass lamp or a stack of monsoon novels. It washes well and gets better with washing, the colors deepen, the hand loosens, the sheet becomes yours.

• Machine wash cold, gentle cycle.
• Wash separately for first two washes.
• Do not bleach. Tumble dry low or line dry in shade.
