A round mandala, worked in pressed petals into the surface of soy wax, inside a five-inch brass urli. Rings inside rings, the way rangoli gets drawn at the door from the centre outward.
It sits well on a brass thali for the aarti or alone on a side table once the guests arrive. After the last burn, wipe the urli clean and use it for flowers floating in water.
