Charcoal Stripe Handwoven Semi-Blackout Cotton Curtain

Handwoven in pure cotton on a flat loom, this curtain builds its stripe through the structure of the weave itself, charcoal body, off-white stripe, the pattern existing in the relationship between threads rather than applied to the surface. It drapes with the natural weight of cotton and darkens a room without stiffening it.

A woven stripe is not a printed stripe. The charcoal and off-white in this curtain are built into the fabric at the loom, two colours of cotton thread interlaced in a pattern that reads differently in morning light than in the flat light of an overcast afternoon.
