Chintz Assorted Set Off-White, Brick Red and Navy Cotton Curtains

Off-white ground, brick red ground, navy ground: each one receives the same hand-block printed Chintz pattern differently. The carved wooden blocks are pressed into pure cotton by artisans outside Jaipur, Rajasthan, the same hands that hold the block, check the alignment, and lift to press again, one repeat after another, across the full length of each panel. The result is three curtains that share a vocabulary and speak it with three different accents.

The Chintz vocabulary, opulent florals, trailing vines, ornate foliage borrowed from 18th-century Indian textile archives, reads warm on off-white, forward on brick red, and formal on navy blue. Three panels in these tones give a room the full range of what block-print can do when the ground changes but the pattern holds. Printed in Rajasthan on pure cotton.

This is a set that works with almost any room because it contains almost any room's palette already within it.

Care Instructions

• Machine wash cold or hand wash in cold water.
• Wash separately for first two washes to prevent colour transfer.
• Do not bleach. Line dry in shade, avoid direct sunlight while drying.
• Iron on medium while slightly damp for best results.
• Avoid tumble drying on high heat.
