Dusty Pink & Green Reversible Mulmul Quilt

Sanganer's printers have always known that color is relational, dusty pink without green is incomplete; together they create the palette of Rajasthan's gardens, the bougainvillea against the neem, the rose bed against the kitchen garden. These hand-block printed mulmul quilts are printed using carved wooden blocks, both faces completed before the cotton fill is added and the edges stitched by hand. What you receive is two quilts in one cloth.

Hand-block printed on mulmul cotton in Sanganer, outside Jaipur, Rajasthan, this quilt pairs dusty pink with sage green across both its faces, floral on one side, geometric on the other, each composed using carved wooden blocks. The cotton fill inside is pure; the stitching secures it flat so the fill doesn't migrate.

This is one of the warmest colorways in the series, the combination reads green-forward in shadow and pink-forward in direct light. Pull it across a bed and the room shifts. It weighs almost nothing; its presence is disproportionate to that fact.
