Sanganer, a small town on the outskirts of Jaipur in Rajasthan, has been the center of hand block-printing in India for at least three hundred years. The artisans here work with carved teak blocks, natural dyes, and fine cotton, the block is inked, aligned by eye, and pressed by hand, then lifted and repositioned for the next repeat. This sheer curtain carries a full-face floral print laid down through that process: the pattern is not screened or digitally applied.

The sheer weight means it works in any room where you want pattern without enclosure. The floral motif in cream and earth tones coordinates with solid-color panels or with other pieces from the same block-printing tradition. Wash it by hand and hang it wet, cotton this fine dries in an hour.
