Details
Found across Harappan excavation sites from Punjab to Gujarat, this seal depicting a single-horned animal has puzzled archaeologists for decades. Was it mythological? A lost species? The ritual bowl beneath suggests ceremony. Molela artisans in Rajasthan made this handcrafted replica from the same class of material, terracotta, shaped and fired by hand.
The Unicorn Seal is the most frequently recovered artifact of the Harappan civilization, more than 1,200 examples excavated across the Indus Valley, each pressed into clay by a person whose name we will never know. This handmade replica is made by Molela artisans in Rajasthan using traditional artisanal terracotta methods. It comes framed, ready to hang, at a scale that lets you actually look at the detail.
The object raises a question every time you look at it: what did they know that we do not? That is not a bad thing for a wall to do.

Materials + Care
Pure brass, sheesham, cotton — colours from a dye pot, not a swatch. Brass deepens with use; that is not a defect, it is the object becoming yours. Care notes for each material live in the Details above.
