Three pieces from the wicker basket makers of Ganderbal, Kashmir, the flat serving tray, the four-compartment cutlery caddy, and the tissue box cover, all woven from willow over dark wood in collaboration with KILAB. The tray carries; the caddy holds; the tissue box organizes. Made in one workshop, from one valley, for a table that deserves to know its provenance.

All three use the same pale willow wicker over charcoal wood frame, the visual language of the Willows of the Valley collection, and all three come from the same workshop in the Kashmir Valley.

Bring the tray and caddy to the dining table; let the tissue box cover live on the console. Or keep all three in the kitchen, where the natural wicker will respond to warmth and use over time, deepening at the edges and holding its form at the structure. This is what natural materials do: they become more themselves the more they are used.

Care Instructions

• Brass will develop a natural patina with use, this is not a defect, it is the object becoming yours.
• Hand wash only with mild soap and lukewarm water. Never put in dishwasher.
• Wipe dry immediately after washing. Do not leave wet.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners and steel wool, use a soft cloth only.
• Polish periodically with a brass-cleaning powder or lemon and salt to restore lustre.
