Marigold Jaali Ivory and Taupe Cotton Quilt

Mulmul is the finest weave in the cotton family, so thin the old Mughal court called it woven air. This quilt is made from it, hand block-printed in Sanganer, outside Jaipur, Rajasthan, with a marigold motif drawn from the jaali screens of palace architecture. The Ivory, Taupe, and Mustard palette is the color of northern Indian sunlight, warm, layered, never harsh. The artisanal cotton stuffing inside is natural and breathes with the season.
