Mustard & Black Bagru Tiled Geometric Bedsheet

The tiled repeat is Bagru's most architectural form, block pressed flush against block, the pattern continuous, the cloth becoming something closer to a mosaic than a print. Printers outside Jaipur, Rajasthan have carried this technique in their families for generations, the blocks carved to exact tolerances so the tile meets perfectly at every join. This bedsheet works in mustard and black, the combination of harvest and shadow, of turmeric and kohl.

Printed in the Bagru tradition on pure cotton, this handcrafted bedsheet carries a tiled mustard geometric with a black border, the repeat is closed, precise, the kind of pattern that rewards a well-made bed. The hand-block printing introduces subtle variation into the tile: each impression is slightly different from the last, which is what makes the cloth feel alive rather than manufactured.

The black border contains the mustard pattern and frames the sheet's edges. Two pillow covers are printed from the same block sequence, each one handmade. The artisanal geometric design translates across rooms, contemporary, traditional, or somewhere between.
