Willow Wicker Coaster Set Kashmir, with Holder

The Keani Keam wicker tradition of Ganderbal, Kashmir produces objects that are deceptively simple, tight, even weave over a wooden base, every strand placed by hand. Six coasters, each handcrafted from willow wicker over a natural wood base by artisans in Ganderbal, Kashmir, using the Keani Keam tradition. The weave is flush and even, the surface is smooth enough to use as a coaster, textured enough to identify as handmade. They come with a holder for when they are not in use.

Care Instructions

• Brass will develop a natural patina with use, this is not a defect, it is the object becoming yours.
• Hand wash only with mild soap and lukewarm water. Never put in dishwasher.
• Wipe dry immediately after washing. Do not leave wet.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners and steel wool, use a soft cloth only.
• Polish periodically with a brass-cleaning powder or lemon and salt to restore lustre.
