Blue Leafy Stripes Reversible Mulmul Quilt

Stripe is one of the oldest block-print geometries, the carved wooden block pressed end to end in a line, each impression slightly deeper or lighter than the last, giving the repeat its breath. In Sanganer, outside Jaipur, Rajasthan, artisans have been printing this way for generations, using indigo-family blues on mulmul cotton that goes transparent in afternoon light. This quilt carries that stripe on both faces, blue on one side, the leaf form resolved differently on the other.

Hand-block printed in Sanganer using carved wooden blocks, this handcrafted mulmul quilt prints leafy stripes in a palette of blue, a color with deep roots in Rajasthan's artisanal dye traditions. The mulmul base is woven from the finest cotton grade: sheer, light, air-moving. The cotton fill inside contains no synthetic material; the stitching holds it flat so it doesn't shift with use.

Flip it. The reverse carries a coordinated print, same artisan, same block session, different composition. This quilt lives on the bed or across the foot of it. Either way it carries the unhurried quality of something handmade.
