Chintz Assorted Set Brick Red, Navy and Ivory Cotton Curtains

Three curtains, three readings of the same Chintz vocabulary. Brick red carries the ochre-warmth of Indian earth pigments; navy holds depth; ivory offers the ground from which both speak. Each panel is hand-block printed outside Jaipur, Rajasthan, by artisans working with carved wooden blocks that have been cutting the same 18th-century floral patterns for generations, the blocks worn smooth in the places where hands grip them.

This three-curtain set is a study in what Chintz does best: it takes a single design vocabulary and deploys it across multiple grounds, so that each panel is related but not identical. Brick red, navy, and ivory each carry the same opulent florals, trailing vines, and ornate foliage, printed by hand on pure cotton in Rajasthan. Together they build a room that feels layered rather than matched.

The Chintz tradition is one of India's great textile exports, developed here centuries before the British codified it and shipped it back. These curtains are that history brought home.
