Gond Forest Ganesha Tribal Art Print

Gond art belongs to the Gondi people of Central India, a visual language built on the belief that every living thing carries a spirit, expressed through interlocking dots, patterns, and forms that fill every inch of a composition. This Ganesha was created in collaboration with a Gond artist, reimagining the deity through the forest-world that Gond art has always inhabited. The Gond peoples of Central India have a visual tradition that operates on an entirely different logic than classical Indian art, everything is patterned, everything is inhabited, empty space is not a concept that exists. Trees are filled with birds; figures are filled with texture; the eye never rests. This handmade print places Ganesha inside that world, the deity reimagined through Gond idiom in collaboration with a Gond artist.
