Cast brass beads, coiled into a spiral coin shape, are strung by hand onto soft cotton thread — a set of three built for the morning when more than one wrist needs tying. The metalwork is simple and unfussy, brass left to do the talking without any added plating or stones.

Each rakhi in the set stands on its own or layers well against the others, easy to tell apart at a glance. Brass ages the way brass always has — a little duller, a little warmer — and that shift is part of what makes it worth keeping long after the thread itself is retired.
