The Jaipuri printing tradition draws from a vocabulary of geometric and floral forms developed in the artisanal workshops of Sanganer, outside Jaipur, Rajasthan. Artisans here press carved teak blocks into cotton by hand, section by section, building pattern through repetition and slight variation. This dhurrie in olive green carries that lineage, the pattern dense with symmetrical intent, the colour drawn from the muted end of the natural dye spectrum.
