Marigold Sage Green and Off-White Bedsheet

Sage Green is the color of the herb itself, muted, silvery, the kind of green that reads almost grey in certain lights and entirely warm in others. In Sanganer, outside Jaipur, Rajasthan, artisans press this palette into pure cotton using carved wooden blocks, the white marigold motifs and leaf forms surfacing from the Sage ground in a pattern that is legible from across a room and rewarding at close range.

The Marigold Collection takes its name from a flower, but this bedsheet in Sage Green and Off White belongs to a cooler register, the marigold motifs here rendered in white against a muted green, the pattern quiet in a way that invites the eye to stay rather than to scan. Hand block-printed in Sanganer, outside Jaipur, Rajasthan, each carved wooden block pressed into the pure cotton by the artisan's weight behind it.
