Details
A peacock with its wings drawn back carries the flame on its back, under a clear glass top that keeps it steady. Light it on Dhanteras and keep it going through Diwali on the mandir shelf, or at the centre of the dining table on the main night.
- Material: terracotta, hand-finished
- Size: 6 in high, 6 in wide
- In the set: 1 akhand diya
- Use: with oil and a cotton wick
- Handmade: shape and finish vary slightly from piece to piece
- Care: wipe with a clean, dry cloth; handle with care, as terracotta can chip if dropped
Materials + Care
Made by hand by master artisans using traditional techniques: brass, natural fibres, block-printed cottons and age-old craft methods. Small variations in colour and finish are the signature of human hands, not defects. Each piece is quality-checked before it ships.
